    Education Excursion

An educational excursion, also known as a field trip, is a planned school activity that takes students outside of the classroom to enhance their learning and development. Excursions can include activities related to the curriculum or not, and can last for a day or more. The main goal is to provide students with hands-on experiences that take learning beyond the classroom.
Educational excursions can help students: Improve critical thinking, Develop social and life skills, Experience culture firsthand, Socialize with local people, and Immerse themselves in new experiences.
Excursions can include visits to places that are historically or strategically important, or tailor-made trips that include activities that encourage students to think outside the box. Teachers and group chaperones typically lead the excursions.
